I would like to take this opportunity to share with you a very exciting change that has taken place. Since our inception almost 14 years ago ACP, Inc has strived to bring you the benefits of the latest Microsoft related technology and products and more recently advanced Sharepoint services, server and desktop virtualization and disaster recovery solutions. As you may know, ACP has focused on providing a depth of expertise across a limited range of solutions and has not been able to provide complete solutions and other services such as phone systems, cabling, telco and expanded datacenter services that our customers needed.
With the changing market, we saw the need to offer a much broader range of solutions and in order to make that a reality we would have to find a suitable partner to join forces with. Good fortune came our way and we found an excellent company that was looking for the same opportunity we were…InLine. So, as of January 1st, 2009 InLine and ACP have joined forces in order to provide you the broadest range of products and services available.
InLine is one of the largest commercial solution providers in Alabama. Based in Birmingham and with offices in Decatur, Montgomery and Jackson Mississippi, InLine will allow us to offer a much broader scope of products and services to our clients throughout Alabama and Mississippi. By joining their team we have truly enabled ourselves to be a Total Solution Provider (TSP). We have found that most of our clients, if given the choice, would prefer to deal with a single business and point of contact for their entire computer, data and support needs. Furthermore, by being a TSP, we are able to eliminate all of the “finger pointing” and gray areas of responsibility where clients are often trapped, while their business suffers during periods of downtime.
We will now have the ability to personally handle all aspects of our client’s needs by offering such benefits as single invoicing, quicker support time and less downtime for your organization.
A few answers to some common questions:
- All recurring invoices will be from InLine as of January 1st, 2009.
- We will stay in Birmingham, but will move to a larger facility with more resources.
- We will be making rounds to visit ALL of our clients to answer any questions or concerns they may have about this change.
- We will have an Open House at our new InLine headquarters in early January to show off the new facilities and resources available to our clients.
- You will have access to InLine's 24x7 Helpdesk (205-278-8119) and the online ticketing system allowing you to follow the progress of your ticket.

- Our added support structure from InLine consists of over 100 staff that is highly trained and seasoned in all fields of this industry.
- Some of the additional services that will be available through us now will include:
- Phone Systems and Voice/Data Services
- Additional Engineering expertise – InLine carries a broad knowledgeable base and experienced technical group.
- Web and Email services – to include hosting and custom design.
- A 3rd generation, multi-homed datacenter for web hosting, online backup, disaster recovery. The ACP virtual hosting and disaster recovery center will be relocated to this facility early next year.
- Large inventory of computer components and parts to ensure same day repair of computers and servers.
- Certified network cabling team in which no job is too big or too small
- Custom application development
In short, you will have the same staff and strengths that have made ACP such a valued business partner; while now having access to many new people, resources and cutting edge business technologies.
